I am very passionate in what I do.  Although I started working as an accountant in 1997, my passion started in 2001 when I became a Senior Auditor with the City of New Orleans Bureau Audit Division doing sales/use tax compliance audits, resolving audits, and communicating with business owners to resolve those audits.

Many small business owners who I communicated with had one common concern, not having a trusted professional to help them with their books and understand tax regulations. Many business owners do their best to maintain books, but their best seems to be not good enough.  This is a need that I had to fulfil. I want to help business owners to see they can have accurate financials by not only implementing  simple basic business processes but also have a trusted accountant to help strengthen their accounting foundation. This is the reason that I created Bartee Accounting Services & Integrated Corporate Solutions, LLC.

My company and I want to help small business owners to be successful by strengthening the accounting foundation, educate, develop, and implement processes to help them grow. ​My company and I want to see more business owners enjoy autonomy, work-life balance, and financial freedom. Operating a business is challenging. However, having an accountant  you can trust will make that journey easier.

I am a single mother with one adult son.  He continues to motivate me. I am the oldest of three siblings. My brother maintains an executive position at a business in Canada. My sister is a business owner as well. She is my other motivator. Her tender-age sons definitely keeps me sharp.

When I am not working with numbers, I destress by making herbal tea blends.  I started using herbs in 2020. I researched herbs that will help with my ailments like high blood pressure.  Hibiscus and peppermint leaves were my first two herbs I purchased.  Now, I have 72 herbs.  My sister keeps me busy in making herbal tea blends like hibiscus mint tea, lemon green tea, hibiscus tea blend, and so many others.  I love to do long-distance driving and enjoy the sites of nature.
